We offer dog grooming in the Hills District of Sydney on select days

at a wonderful one on one grooming room at Rouse Hill.

Casey has a calm and gentle approach to dog grooming with extensive background in dog training, vet nursing and grooming .

Our service offers bathing, tidy up grooms and basic body clipping 

 

  The modern grooming room is purpose built within a new vet clinic and is fitted with a warm water electric lift bath, an electric lift grooming table,  blow dryer and quality grooming equipment. 

Our grooming room at Rouse Hill has a one on one care approach with bookings by appointment and pickup times ensuring no dogs stay in cages, no dogs are cage dried and there is not the stress of hearing or seeing dogs during grooming. ( dogs from the same family welcome at the same time of course )

With a dog training background Casey can recognise how comfortable the dogs are while being groomed and will combine positive reinforcement training methods with the grooming to make your dog's experience as stress free as possible.

We do not believe in forcing a dog to be groomed if it is distressed or acting aggressively, and will provide recommendations for owners to work with their dogs between grooms to maintain positive cooperative care between dogs and their humans.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SALON GROOMING APPOINTMENTS AT ROUSE HILL FAMILY VETS 

​

• Bookings are by appointment only with pickup and drop off times advised on booking

• Due to the Fear Free approach with grooming, if a dog is stressed or scared we will slow down and give them breaks or adjust the settings of our equipment which can slow down the process, if we are abit delayed with a previous pet booked we will contact you via phone to alter your drop off or pick up times with notice. Once we have groomed a dog once we can guage their average groom time allocation

• please ring Casey on arrival due to COVID policies of the clinic, and you will be met outside the clinic

• Vaccination proof is required for all dogs if you are a new customer

 CANCELLATIONS/MISSING APPOINTMENTS:

• Cancellations within less than 24h incurs a $30 fee 

​

• If you do not show at the salon, and you have forgotten your appointment a $30 fee applies after 15 minutes unless you have made contanct and your groomer will advise if you can still attend or book another day. 

​

• We reserve the right to refuse to groom/continue to groom an aggressive or extremely fearful dog and the grooming fee will apply 

​

• Full disclosure of medical conditions, injuries, allergies and behaviour concerns is required from the dog owner
